Featuring

We are so lucky to have the best of friends, many whom are kind enough to stand by us day in day out. Being kind, celebrating each other and sharing talents is what life is all about. Everyone who is featuring in our wedding is connected to us in some way and these people have helped contribute to our special day.
We are so grateful, Molly & Tom x

The Wonderful Children from
Alvaston Infant and Nursery School

Music for our Ceremony

Seeing as the day is centred around Molly and Tom’s favourite things, it couldn’t possibly not feature the children of Alvaston Infant and Nursery School! Molly adores her job and the beautiful children who she is blessed to work alongside, every day. The children have practised their favourite songs and can’t wait to warm your hearts, as they sing for you in church.

Billy O’Dakin’s

Music for our Night Time Entertainment

Billy O’Dakin’s (Billy Garret and Adam Dakin) are a band that Molly and Tom love to go and listen to! They have spent many nights dancing and singing along to their music… some Irish, some pop, some classics… they always bring the party and guarantee a good night! With their cheeky personality and banter, they know how to get the crowd going. One thing to watch out for is that Molly has a habit of stealing Billy’s hat… and the microphone! Billy O’Dakin’s will also be singing during Day 2 at the Bell and Castle!

Emma Buckley

Music for our Celebration

Emma and Molly met from ‘hanging around’ with the same crowd, as school girls in Allestree. Whilst they knew each other, their real friendship started when Emma came to St Benedict Sixth Form. Both Emma and Molly were in the same Drama and Performing Arts Classes. Both girls had so much fun crafting plays and pulling things out the bag, just in the nick of time! Emma was always so super talented and Molly always aspired to sing like Emma… she didn’t have a hope in hell! Over the years, both Molly and Tom have loved watching Emma and hearing her write, perform and compose her own music. Going to see Emma live is one of Molly and Tom’s favourite things to do – it always puts them in a good mood! They both feel Emma is incredibly talented and know you will enjoy her music as much as they do!

Kedleston Country House

Kedleston Country House has always been a special place for Tom and Molly. When they moved home over 2 years ago, they loved walking up on summer evenings and sitting in the beautiful garden, admiring the surrounding views but they also love winter walks to the the Kedleston and cosying up next to the roaring fire in the snug, just as much! Tom and Molly have had many special times at the Kedleston and the day after they became engaged, it was the first place they celebrated with their friends! The Kedleston is run by 3 talented sisters and this contributes to the lovely family feel of the place.

Adam is an engineer by trade but has a real talent when it comes to taking photos! Adam is husband to Sophie, a teacher who works with Molly. Molly and Tom were super impressed with Adam’s creative shots and

Charlotte Brealey

Harpist

Charlotte is one very special and talented young lady! Charlotte was in Molly’s first class when she became a teacher. Molly (or Miss Allen back then) always knew Charlotte was destined for greatness and she excelled in all that she did. Molly was astounded to hear Charlotte, who was 5 at the time, play a little pink harp and loved the story that her parents shared at parents’ evening about how this came about… once Charlotte has an idea in her mind, it’s always going to come to fruition!  From her beautiful handwriting, to quick whit and kind nature, there was nothing Charlotte couldn’t do… we know you will all be as mesmerised with Charlotte and her music as we are!
